Accomodation in Tour

Today I'm going to write about my experience of using tour accommodation. Basically, accommodation, according to the Cambridge dictionary, is a place to stay. In the term of tour and travel, it means the place that we used to stay when we spend our holiday. It could be hotels, motels, a villa, etc.

To be honest, I haven't had many experiences in using tour accommodation, I rarely go on vacation also.

The only experience I had was staying over at a hotel with one of my friends to do our assignment. The hotel was not far from our house, it was in Pasar Minggu area. It was more like a motel because the building was like a dorm. The cost was also not expensive, we stayed over for a night only for IDR 172,000, maybe that was also why the service was not that good. The owner who welcomed us was pretty humble, but he only had baggy pants and t-shirt on, well, to me, that didn't really matter. The other workers were kind too, but they wouldn't greet us first unless we did, and I think that is kind of weird.

There were not many guests when we stayed over, there was only one or two, so it was pretty quiet for us. About the room, it was pretty spacious and very clean. My friend and I liked the lighting best because it was not too dim nor too bright. The air conditioner worked well, too, even though it was not that cold to me, but my friend felt it was too cold.

For the food, we didn't order anything from the motel. We went out in the evening and bought ourselves fried rice, and in the morning we went out again to get breakfast.

For that price, I think the service and the room that we got was not that bad. Will I come back? For doing assignment only, or to have a me-time, maybe yes.
